In our tests during our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair effectively, clearing huge amounts of debris from bare floors and moderate amounts from medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpets, where it had a hard time reaching dirt and dust embedded vacuum mop robot within the fibers. It was able to navigate the legs of chairs, small spaces, and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was a little slower on floors that were not paved, but it recovered speed and performed better than other robots we have test.
The IQ is a more suitable option for most users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin and a longer battery lifespan and is more adept at navigating around obstacles. It has a mopping tool that can clean up sticky mess. On the other side, the iRobot feels better-built and has fewer components that require maintenance or replacement, incurs lower recurring costs and can even create virtual no-go zones through its companion app. It is able to even resume the cleaning process from where it left off in case it is unable to recharge its battery prior to it has completed the task. The iRobot can also be controlled using voice, which is a huge plus for many users.
Eufy 11S
The RoboVac 11S eufy robot vacuum isn't among the most advanced models, but it provides excellent cleaning power for a low cost. When it encounters them, it ceases to move and emits an alarm so that you can manually steer it around the obstacle and get it back to work.
The BoostIQ mode is another great feature of the Eufy11S. It lets you set up the robot to automatically adjust the suction strength based on the type of floor and the amount of the mess. It's also simple to use the remote to direct the 11S in the direction you want it to go.
Single Room Mode is a great option for those with small furniture in the room you'd like to vacuum. The eufy will take 30 minutes intensely cleaning the area it's assigned to.
